IPOB,MASSOB: We Did Not Burn Down Any Mosque In Onitsha.

Following ground swell protests at Ontisha, Anambra State and other states of the south-east geopolitical zone staged by members of the Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, and the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, last Tuesday, calling on the Federal Government to release their detained leader, Nnamdi Kanu, the two pro-Biafra groups, Wednesday, disassociated selves from acts of arson and violence that culminated in the razing down of Onitsha Central Mosque and burning of some vehicles.

This came as the Inspector General of Police,Solomon Arase, warned that the Nigerian Police Force, NPF, will henceforth, arrest and prosecute persons found to be engaged in the breakdown of law and order by way of protests, especially in the old eastern region.

Before Nnamdi Kanu Is Murdered By Buhari’s Secret Police- Statement

We, the leaderships of the Southeast based Coalition of Human Rights Organizations; comprising the International Society for Civil Liberties & the Rule of Law (Intersociety), Anambra State Branch of the Civil Liberties Organization (CLO), the Center for Human Rights & Peace Advocacy (CHRPA), Human Rights Club(HRC) (a project of LRRDC), Southeast Good Governance Forum (SGGF), Forum for Equity, Justice & Defense of Human Rights (FEJDHR), Society Advocacy Watch Project (SPAW), Anambra Human Rights Forum (AHRF), the International Solidarity for Peace & Human Rights Initiative (INTERSOLIDARITY) and the Street Law Africa (LawAfrica) are deeply worried and concerned that Citizen Nnamdi Kanu may mostly likely go the way of late Muhammed Yusuf.

It is recalled that late Muhammed Yusuf was the leader of the Boko Haram terror group who was arrested alive by the Nigerian Army during the July/August 2009 Boko Haram uprising in northern Nigeria and taken into the custody of the Nigeria Police Force, from where he was murdered in cold blood or killed extra judicially. The consequences of that dastardly act by the country’s security forces led to sharp rise or increase in the spate of terrorism activities by the violent group; which has remained untamed till date. Nigeria till date holds the world record in extra-judicial and unlawful killings. It was also recently declared the third most terrorized country in the world after Afghanistan and Iraq and seconded only by Syria and Pakistan.

Can The Igbos Successfully Rule Themselves ?

Can We The Igbo's Successfully Govern Ourselves In Justice And Equity ? The Call For The Actualization Of The Sovereign State of biafra Is A Welcomed Development By Majority Of the Easterners, But Forgetting The Fact that We Ourselves Are Our Own Problems. Let The Struggle Stop, Let the Lawlessness Stop And Let Us First Fight The War Within, Win The War And Unitedly Actualize The Biafran Dream.

IPOB And MASSOB Should Be Allowed To Exercise Their Fundamental Rights- Senator Ahmad Sani Yerima

Amidst a renewed agitation by pro-Biafra protesters across the South east and South south parts of the country with the subsequent clamp down on them by the Federal Government, a former governor of Zamfara State, Ahmad Sani Yerima, has said that the Biafra agitators were on a legitimate struggle for self determination.
The former governor, now a Senator, told newsmen that consequently, the federal government and the security agencies must allow them to exercise their fundamental human rights as guaranteed by the Constitution.
Yerima, a politician known for his radical views on national issues, cautioned President Muhammadu Buhari and the Nigeria Armed Forces against the use of force on the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the Movement for the Survival of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), saying the groups were on a legitimate struggle for self-determination and should be allowed to exercise their fundamental rights.

IPOB: WE DISOWN OHANAEZE,ELDERS AND SOUTH-EAST GOVERNORS' FORUM.

http://www.newsline247.com/2015/11/ipob-we-disown-ohanaezeelders-and-south.html
Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) has disowned the South-East Governors’ Forum, elders and Ohanaeze over their alleged role in the agitation for the release of the Director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu. Mr. Emma Powerful, leader of the group said this in a statement on the heels of a warning from Anthony Nwoko, an Enugu-based prophet to President Muhammdu Buhari to desist from truncating the actualisation of a Biafra state. Powerful said IPOB rejected South-East Governors’ Forum and Ohanaeze stance on the continued incarceration of Kanu and warned the groups to desist from sabotaging the efforts of IPOB.
