WEST AFRICA CONFIRMED EBOLA FREE.

Liberia women celebrate in Monrovia, Liberia, 09 May 2015, the news of the end of deadly ebola outbreak in the country.

No new cases of Ebola were reported in Guinea last week, the first week since the full epidemic began that none of the Ebola-affected countries in West Africa have reported a case, the World Health Organization said Wednesday.

That doesn't mean Guinea is free and clear — there could be cases that haven't been detected yet.

But it may be the beginning of a countdown to the end of the epidemic in West Africa that has sickened more than 28,000 people and killed more than 11,000 of them.

Read the press statement below...

The Rivers State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party says the appointment of the former State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi as the Minister of Transportation will not make any meaningful impact to the Rivers people because he is a misfit. Bro Felix Obuah, the State chairman of the party said this through a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Jerry Needam while reacting to the official swearing in of the new Ministers and assigning of portfolios to them.

China Cheap Exports Can Be The Hardest Thing To Stop In The Nearest Furture.

A man walks past construction vehicles on display during the China Import and Export Fair, also known as Canton Fair, in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou October 15, 2015.

China has served notice to World Trade Organization members including the European Union and United States that complaints about its cheap exports will need to meet a higher standard from December 2016, a Beijing envoy said at a WTO meeting.
Ever since it joined the WTO in 2001, China has frequently attracted complaints that its exports are being "dumped", or sold at unfairly cheap prices on foreign markets. Under world trade rules, importing countries can slap punitive tariffs on goods that are suspected of being dumped.
Normally such claims are based on a comparison with domestic prices in the exporting country.

It is studying the mine's permits and will ensure the owners pay for cleanup costs, Environment Minister Izabella Teixeira said in Brasília, the capital.

German prosecutors have opened a criminal investigation into Facebook's European head due to complaints that the social media platform is not removing posts containing hate speech related to the country's influx of refugees.

Under German law, anyone who makes a public comment that incites hatred or violence against a person on the grounds of ethnicity or religion can face up to three years in prison. Under the same law, a person can be imprisoned for attacking the "human dignity of a person or group of people by insulting that group." Politicians have grown concerned that hate speech, and even outbreaks of violence, are growing throughout Germany, with the country preparing to receive more than one million asylum seekers by the end of the year.

A Lady Emerge As Nigerian Finance Minister Amiss The Financial Crisis The Country Is Facing

Nigeria's new minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, smiles after taking an oath of office during a swearing-in …
Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari appointed former investment banker Kemi Adeosun as finance minister on Wednesday, putting her in charge of Africa's largest economy amid its worst crisis in years, as he swore in members of his long-awaited cabinet.

Buhari worried investors with the five-month wait to put his 36 ministers in place while the economy, reliant on oil exports for 70 percent of government revenues, was hammered by a fall in crude prices and an Islamist insurgency in the northeast.

The 72-year-old former military ruler, who took office on May 29, has said he took the time to vet the candidates as part of his election promise to battle corruption and mismanagement.

Lions destroy tires and attempt to shatter windows to get at the humans inside.

A pride of hungry lions attacked a jeep full of tourists in Serengeti National Park, destroying tires and attempting to shatter windows to get at the terrified humans inside.

Safari tour guide Emmanuel Bayo from Arusha, Tanzania, witnessed the encounter from nearby and snapped off a few photos that showed the lions in attack mode at the famous Tanzanian park.

“It was quite scary, really — the lions are very hungry in the park and hadn’t had a kill for a while,” Bayo told Caters News. “The truck was driving past with people inside and the lions smelt the humans.

“Then they were trying to get inside for about an hour and wreaked havoc.”
