According to Vanguard reports, popular gospel musician, Yinka Ayefele had quite a rough weekend in the hands of the local boys in Akure, Ondo state. This is as a result of his alleged refusal to settle 'awon boys' after collecting 3 million naira performance fees to perform at the burial of  85-year-old Madam Ebunoluwa Lydia  Odumakinde.

A 25-year-old man, Cyril Ojango Etim pictured above, has been arrested by the Cross Rivers state police command for beheading 34 year old Ubong Asuquo, after stealing N4,000 from him at his home in Old Netim, Akamkpa Local Government Area of Cross River State on February 27th this year. Sunday Sun reports that Etim had stormed the home of the deceased and stole the money from him.

An Igbosere Magistrate’s Court has sentenced a 20 year old housemaid, identified as Vivian, to 2 months’ imprisonment for stealing her female boss' sets of underwear and other valuables.

The maid who was employed by Bisi Awoniyi, was on a salary of N20,000 per month and had 1 day off each week.

On September 9th which was her arranged day off, her boss asked to search her bag before she could leave. During the search, the boss discovered face towels, several pieces of underwear and night wears that belonged to her (the boss).
