A 70 year old man might have cheated death when he bounced back to life after spending over 30 hours in a mortuary in Makurdi, the Benue state capital reports THE SATURDAY VANGUARD. Doctors at a private hospital in the town had on Saturday, August 26, 2015, certified Amos Otene dead at 4. 30 am and   promptly covered him up and wheeled him into the mortuary, awaiting instructions from members of the family for embarment.

A statement by the Senior Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Garba Shehu said “the documents submitted to the CCB, which officials say are still being vetted and will soon be made public, show that prior to being sworn in on May 29, President Buhari had less than N30 million to his name. He also had only one bank account, with the Union Bank. President Buhari had no foreign account, no factory and no enterprises. He also had no registered company and no oil wells”, the statement said.

Tragedy As Two Die In Ghastly Accident In Benue This Morning !!!!

Report coming in from Benue is that a motorcycle rider popularly known as Okada and a student of the College of Advance and Professional Studies (CAPS) Makurdi were crushed to death this morning by a trailer along University of Agriculture road, North Bank, Makurdi. According to eyewitnesses, as the motorcycle tried to overtake the trailer, the latter lost control and crushed the okada man and a female passenger, later found to be an accounting student of the College of Advance and Professional Studies (CAPS) Makurdi.

Both died on the spot with their brains scattered on the roadside as people gathered.
