The Chairman, Senate Committee on Ethics and Public Petitions, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, who spoke with a Punch correspondent on Friday in Abuja said that the committee would send petitions to protest against President Muhammadu Buhari’s ministerial nominees on Tuesday once the list is  presented to them.
He said as of Friday, no member of the public had formally submitted any petition against any of the ministerial nominees.

Ajilari ward, which is on outskirt of Maiduguri, had two days to Sallah, witnessed a suicide bomb attack which left over 100 people dead with 97 seriously injured.

President Buhari says he will not be interfering in the trial of the senate president Bukola Saraki at the Code of Conduct Tribunal as he could be successfully impeached if he does so.
