David Mark Should Go Home And Rest. Nigerians Speak
The court of Appeal sitting in Markurdi has nullified the election of Senator David Mark.
Granting the applications of the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate for Benue South, Mr Donald Onjeh, the Appeal Court ordered that a fresh poll be conducted within 90 days.
Reacting to the news on social media, many Nigerians applauded the decision of the court. See their reasons from their comments below.
One commenter said, Nobody dey even hear him voice for Senate. Is like he became fed up as a senator when his party failed to produce majority, thereby denying him the SP.
Another stated, Good decision from the court. He should go home and rest after 16 years as a senator. It’s time for a younger leader to represent that district in the senate.
Yet another comment, It is high time David Mark hang his boots. l wonder what he will in the coming campaigns be telling his people he would do for them that he failed to do as Senate President for 8 years and his non contribution in the present senate will not help him!
And another, DAYBREAK 2015!
Fellow nairalanders, please join me to celebrate the liberation and emancipation of my people ‘The Idoma nation’ on this day that the cry of the oppressed has been answered in the appellate court.
This is indeed a victory for democracy and a damn of a new day!
I Have Killed Up To 34 Of My Colleagues. Ex-Cultist Confesses
Excerpts:
How did you begin the journey into cultism?
I was in JS.S 3 in 2002 at the Federal Government College, Vandeikya, Benue State. At the time I was initiated, I never knew that I was entering into cultism.
Those days, we used to break bounds. We would scale the school fence. I was actually initiated during the period known as “mock extension”, where JSS 3 and SSS 3 students would stay back in school. I was initiated by my seniors. They loved me, always took me out and bought me drinks and cigarettes. I was introduced to partying. On one occasion, they took me to a party and, from the venue, somewhere in the bush.

Nigerian Police Take Us As There ATM Machine. Lagos Sex Workers
According to a handful that interacted with our correspondent after they were assured their identities won’t be revealed, each lady pays between N7000 and N8000 every week to the leader of the hotel where they ‘hustle’. The fee, they revealed, covers rent for the week and ‘tax’ for the police among other such bills. The pressure of meeting up with such weekly obligation is taking its toll on many of the prostitutes who prospect for clients in Empire. One of the ladies whom our correspondent chatted up at ‘White House’,said
“Whether you work in a week or not, you must pay the regular dues to the head of the hotel,” . “Each of us who ‘hustle’ here pays N8000 every week to our boss who then ‘settles’ the police from it after removing money for rent and other levies. We are over 15 ‘hustling’ here and if you calculate what the police is making from each of us every week, then you’ll see that they are the ones benefiting from our ‘hard work’. If we fail to ‘settle’ them, they’ll come in to harass and intimidate us.
“For the eight months that I have worked here, I have seen a lot of things. It is just as if we have become ATMs for the police; we are like a source of income or a money pot for them. Just to meet up with their demand and avoid harassment, most of us now have to work more than we should. It has not been easy in recent times,” she said.

THE STOP OF BOKO-HARAM IS UNREALISTIC. BUHARI
Senior military, security and intelligence figures in Nigeria on Thursday questioned President Muhammadu Buhari's December deadline for an end to the Boko Haram conflict, calling it "unrealistic". The Centre for Crisis Communication, a research and advisory body independent of government, said the deadline was "not tenable" given the continued wave of bombings in the northeast. Buhari, who came to power in May, has made crushing the six-year rebellion a priority and in August gave his military commanders until the year-end to defeat the Islamists. But the CCC executive secretary, retired Air Commodore Yusuf Anas, told reporters in Abuja there was a real concern about Boko Haram's persistent targeting of civilian "soft targets". Anas said he was not against imposing targets on the military but added: "It must also be stated that this target date might be unrealistic. "This submission is predicated on the fact that asymmetric warfare which Boko Haram is prosecuting against Nigeria is not such that can be easily stamped out by the armed forces."

HELP !!! I HAD SEX WITH MY DAD AND I CAN"T STOP.
Electra Complex: This happens when a girl secretly fantasizes sexual feelings for her biological father.
My name is Stella and I am 25 years of age. I started having an erotic feeling for my dad when I was 21 years old while in my finals at the university . My parents got married at a very young age so they had us on time and we grew with them. I was the most favourite of dad’s and I loved him so much. Despite the number of children my parents had, my dad was still looking charming, tall, a very sexy physique and most importantly, very rich. I was so attached to my dad even as a child but when I became an adult, the feelings became erotic. I lived off camp in a 3-bedroom flat alone while in my finals, so on that fateful day; my dad paid me a visit since he was around the neighbourhood. I have been having funny imagination of being in bed with my dad and praying to have at least one opportunity to fulfill my heart desire. He already called an hour before to inform so I was prepared and bent on carrying out my plan of seducing him that day.

How I Dress like A Woman To Defraud Men.
According to the state commissioner of Police, Fatia Owoseni, Alam had been going around with his fraudulent act but ran out of luck when one of his alleged victims, identified as Hasimu Soli, who he was said to have obtained N15,000 from under false pretence that he was going to marry him.
Subsequently, he escaped only for Soli to sight him at the CMS area of Lagos on November 15 and a
quarrel ensued, leading to the police from the Lion Building Police station to arrest the two men.
CP Owoseni narrated:
“On Sunday, November 15, at CMS , Lagos, a patrol team attached to the Lion Building Police Division arrested the suspect, who went about bearing a woman’s name, Kadijat, and dressed in Muslim hijab. The suspect met one Hassimu of No. 25, Iyana Street, Ajegunle and agreed to a relationship and had falsely obtained N15,000 from Mr. Soli under the guise of marrying him. Mr. Soli had wanted to take Kadijat (suspect) home, but he refused, giving various excuses.
“While they were dragging themselves at the CMS Bus Stop, policemen from Lion Building, who were on patrol, saw them and intervened.
They were taken to the police station for causing the breach of public peace.
At the station, Hassimu alleged that the suspect had collected about N15, 000 from him with a promise to marry him. Soli was shocked to hear the confession of the suspect that he is a man disguised in women’s outfit to defraud men”According to police sources, the suspect confessed that he had been into the business for about two years and that he had defrauded several men in Lagos of unspecified amount of money.
The suspect, who claimed he only speaks Hausa fluently, said:
“My real name is Hussieni Biyaya from Teke town in Kano State.I relocated to Lagos early this year and I live at Bode Thomas Street, Onipanu. I dress like a woman because I look like a woman but my major aim is to deceive men to give me money. I decided to relocate to Lagos so that people who know me in Kano State will not identify me. I usually stand at Ojulegba and CMS areas to look for men”.The victim, Soli, also told his story:
“I met the suspect at Obalande sometime this year. He was standing at Obalende begging for arms. He was dressed in a hijab and painted his face. I noticed him there always begging because I sell sachet water in the area. One day, I walked up to him and asked him to date me.
I thought he is a woman and I told him that he was too beautiful to beg. I gave him N500 that day and we exchanged phone numbers. It got to a point that we became good friends but each time I told him to take me to his house, he will decline. I told him I wanted to marry him, so I took him to see my family at Apapa. After that incident, I did not see him again and he stopped picking my phone calls.
Luckily for me, I saw him one day begging and I traced him to his area at Onipanu but I could not locate the exact house he entered. I asked someone passing and he told me that my girlfriend was a man. Since then I have been trying to catch him so that he can return the N15,000 he collected from me .God heard my prayer and I ran into him at CMS and the police arrested us”.

Terrorists' powerful weapon: Encrypted messages
Terrorists in the modern age have a tool in their arsenal that allows them to operate under the radar: technology.
After a series of unexpected and devastating attacks, counter terrorism officials believe that it’s getting harder to track because they “go dark” through the use of encryption messaging and apps.
The
act of encryption, when a message is encoded so others can’t read it,
is centuries old. Think of Egyptians and cryptography or Julius Caesar
and the Caesar cipher.
But now, the Internet and tech advancements have propelled encryption
into the digital age. Most encryption programs transform information
into a series of letters and numbers, which can only be opened with a
key. One message can have multiple codes, each with a different key,
making it a nearly impossible to crack.

Authorities initially believed that she was the one wearing the suicide vest.
